Help, I'm A Grammar Freak!

Evidence 1:
Di greja lagi ada video yang diputer. Inti filmnya ga begitu masuk di kepala, tapi di akhir video ada tulisan "TO BE CONTINUE". Otomatis langsung berpikir "wah grammarnya salah!". It's supposed to be "TO BE CONTINUED", with D. Terus langsung berpikir untuk bilangin ke orang yang buat (padahal ga tau sapa). Yaa.. supaya ga salah lagi minggu depannya.

Evidence 2:
Kemaren ini Silvie Hosea, housemate saya, menyelipkan surat dari bawah pintu kamar (oww.. so sweet, isn't it? :P) Isinya tentang menanyakan kabar dan memberi semangat. Berhubung dia ngetok2 pintu tapi gw ga nyaut2. hehe. And agaiiinnnn. I can't stop myself from checking the grammar. Dan saya menemukan satu! (cihuy!). Jadi gw ambil pulpen merah, gw benerin yang salah...

Evidence 3:
Lagi ngebacain PM orang di MSN, terus pas gw baca, ada yang salah. Langsung gw panggil dan gw benerin. Mestinya ini lho...
Abis saya berpikir, kan kasian jg ntar malu kalo udah pake bahasa inggris tapi ternyata salah. (ALIBI!)

Evidence 4:
Lagi-lagi si Silvie Hosea, dia nunjukin blognya. Ga ada semenit, gw bukannya baca dengan tenang tapi langsung protes dan ngebetulin grammarnya. YA AMPUUNNN.

Entah sejak kapan saya jadi gila grammar. Setiap ngeliat tulisan dalam bahasa inggris langsung otomatis ngecek grammarnya bener atau salah. Rasanya ada kepuasan tersendiri kalo bisa nemuin yang salah terus bisa betulin. Mungkin waktu kecil pernah ketelak grammar checknya microsoft word kali ya.

Saya harap orang2 ga pada sebel dan saya bisa liat sikon kapan harus ngritik dan kapan ga.

By the way, sedikit pembelaan dari saya...
ada bagusnya saya benerin grammar, daripada ntar yg benerin bos kalian atau orang yang ga dikenal. kan gaswat. hehe.
kalian jg boleh kok mengkritik kalo grammar gw salah :)

Could you trust Me?

Trusting someone isn't easy.
Trusting God goes the same way.

I might say, "I trust you God". But then ended up keep asking the same wish for about hundred times. Is that TRUST?

If you are in a group work and you are given some works to do, and you are doing it properly. You promised that the work will be done next week. But your group seems to be kind of 'faithless' in you, so they keep asking you about the work. Every hour, everyday. How would you feel? You might think that they don't believe in you.

Whether we realize it or not, we did it. Or at least, I did it. So many times. I asked God to help me, to lead me, to give me this and that. But I just couldn't sit still to wait for His answer. I keep on repeating what I asked. The fear of not getting what I want seems much bigger than my faith. Or maybe I just say it, in case He forgot. Even though I know He won't. How silly.

It's not wrong to ask God. Yes, we are allowed to do it. But I think that's not what faith is supposed to be.

Faith: trusting in silence

Sometimes we cannot see His hands, yet we know His heart, don't we? He is God, our father, our best friend. He knows what He's doing in you.

Life is all about choices
